Driven by a bold approach in his work, Kath, originally from Bochum, combines the classic elements of oriental rugs with a contemporary and minimalist design. Another important theme of her current work is the interpretation of floral motifs in textile art, which Kath perfects with her weavers in the laboratories of Kathmandu (Nepal). Together with the STEP label, Jan Kath is committed to respecting rigorous social and ecological standards in its manufacturing. Independent inspectors regularly monitor working conditions.
