Francesco Cinelli was born in 1976 in Pontedera (PI). In 1995 he graduates as art master with specialization in decorative painting at the Art Institute A. Passaglia in Lucca. In 1997, he attends the studio of Prof.Leonardo Passeri in Florence by the Opificio delle Pietre Dure, where he learns new pictorial languages in the field of design and color techniques on the restoration of ancient and modern paintings. In 2004 he graduates at the Italian Academy of Window Dressing in Milan. He starts working in the field of fashion-design and window dressing. He approaches the world of theater, following stages of performances and stage sets at the Performing Arts Center Elan Frantoio in Fucecchio (Firenze) directed by Firenza Guidi. In 2005 he attends the courses on decorative painting by Prof. Alberto Garutti at the Accademia di Brera (Milano). In 2010 he is mentioned by the historian and art critic Giorgio di Genova as Italian artist at the International Prize Limen Arte by the Chamber of Commerce of Vibo Valentia. In 2011 the art critic Nicholas Micieli selects him among fifty artists from Tuscany by the Museum Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art Raffaele De Grada in San Gimignano (Siena). He follows the master course of theatrical scenery Accademia Sperimentale di Regia, led by Giovanni Moleri, Bellusco (Monza e Brianza). In the same year, he publishes his first monograph " La scatola nera della nostra vita” Petrartedizioni, presented by the art historian Giorgio di Genova and the art critic Nicholas Micieli in the extraordinary setting of the cloister of S. Agostino in Pietrasanta (Lucca). The volume gets acclaim at national level, in major public and private institutions, such as Galleria degli Uffizi (Firenze), Museo del Tessuto -Palazzo Pitti (Firenze), Villa Bardini (Firenze). Cinelli exhibits at the Museum of Art and Science of Milan in the first edition of "Otto sguardi d'Autore" in 2013, curated by Alberto Moioli for the Encyclopedia of Italian Art. In 2014 he exhibits at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Imagine 2014" designed by the artistic director Giammarco Puntelli. His works are exhibited along with those of artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Mario Schifano, Tano Festa, Marco Lodola and other important interpreters of the Italian art scene. In 2015 he is present at the contemporary art exhibition “L'arte e il tempo”, Official event of Expo in the city - Expo 2015, designed by Giulia Sillato and directed by Giulia Sillato and Giammarco Puntelli in the Palazzo Giureconsulti in Milan. At the Premio Internazionale Limenarte 2015 he is assigned the task of artist and art director at the opening event, where he presents a performance named “Legalità: Contaminazioni di luce e movimento” at the presence of the Director of the Milan city Museum Centre Domenico Piraina and of the art critics Giorgio di Genova, Giorgio Bonomi, Vincenzo le Pera, Lara Caccia. Some of his works have been acquired by the Museo Galleria d'arte Moderna e Contemporanea Raffaele de Grada di S. Gimignano (Siena) and by the Museo d'arte Contemporanea della Camera di Commercio di Vibo Valentia (Polo Museale della Regione Calabria).
